If you are entering a confined space, it is a legal requirement to receive the correct training. A low risk confined space usually has unobstructed access. These spaces have no risk of flooding and have adequate ventilation, this includes stairwells, cellars, valve chambers and pumping stations.

    Do I need any other City & Guilds qualifications to complete this course?

    Yes, you must have a current certificate for High Risk Confined Spaces [6160-03], Control Entry & Arrangements [6160-04] and Working as a Rescue Team Member [6160-08] before completing.

    What will I learn on this course?

    This is a one day course for anyone who directs the activities of a team for rescue or recovery in confined spaces. This may include rescue team leaders, coordinators, entry controllers/the top person or supervisor in relation to rescue and recovery of casualties.

    The duration of this course is 1 day.

    An accredited trainer will teach this course.

    You will receive a City & Guilds certificate after completing this course.
